Why so nasty? Just because we American woman don’t have to have a man to make it on our own, does not mean we don’t like having them around. Our independence comes from that pioneering spirit that has been handed down from mother to daughter; there once was a wilderness to civilize and the menfolk couldn’t do it all; indeed it took American women just as much as American men to build this great nation, and that required a lot more of us just being the hand that rocked the cradle.
Sweet heart my family spent a couple of centuries on the Western front.
The basic thing was men did men things, clear land and farm, women did woman things manage the home and train kids.
