Social media was buzzing on the night of August 11th when several people managed to snap photographs of what appeared to be an oval-shaped craft in the sky over Houston during stormy weather.
Some of the images showed the object, which seemed to have a single point of light in its center, situated in the foreground with dark storm clouds looming menacingly behind it. The disc was pictured from several angles by different witnesses and seemed to change position in the air multiple times.
"The more people who see it in different directions, the more likely we are to figure out where it is, what it is and see if we can explain it," said Dr. Carolyn Sumners of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. "All the way back to recorded history, there are going to be things we can't explain. That's what makes it exciting."

I definitely do NOT believe in aliens. But I figure there are demonic spirits. I believe Hitler possessed one or vice-versa. Or both.
Which indicates that you must therefore think that anyone who claims he HAS seen extraterrestrial "aliens" or flying craft so technologically advanced that it could come from no other source than another place, is either lying, too stupid to know what they were seeing, or possessed by demonic spirits (regarding spirits, I am in complete agreement with you -- the older I get, the more I agree with you about demonic spirits, Hitler, etc! God works in surprising ways).
Please don't be offended by what I write, Eagle, but understand that when you take the position you do, you gravely insult the honor or intelligence of many, many people, some of whom I know personally. And why -- because you mistook a streetlight for a UFO once?

BEGGING YOUR PARDON, Eagle -- I see that there is another possibility that you meant to convey with what you DID write, which was that you didn't believe in aliens but did believe in demonic spirits.
IF you meant to say that what witnesses assume are extraterrestrial aliens in advanced craft are actually demonic spirits, then indeed that IS an interesting alternative that just might be right! Because I dread such extra-terrestrial critters with the same sense that I fear demonic spirits.
Aces, I pinged you on this because it seems germane to the Christian spiritual aspects!
This was seen and photographed from different parts of our area. the photos were on the news but the story went away..... or at least I missed any explanation.

I have to wonder what’s more demonic, a concreted world destroyed by man’s lack of faith, or aliens watching us do it.. The Lord comes to destroy the destroyers of the earth...Long ago in a conversation in spirit the Lord showed me his view of man’s faith..likened man to a ball of maggots fighting over the last grain of rice all the while knowing they will not survive even if they get the last grain..now that’s demonic..it is a supernatural reality which we are called to, we are all guilty...verses such as the birds of the field do not sow or reap for food, why do you oh men of little faith demonstrate God’s way..compare that to all faiths today? But we begin to hear..we begin to see the world is our ideas created..diseased and in desperate need of spiritual guidance. Come Lord..
You don’t believe in aliens? I always thought it was presumptuous to think that humans are the only life in the universe.
If its not a UFO, but an actual flying craft of assumed extraterrestrial origin, why can I see the background sky through it? Shouldn’t it be solid (Like the thing closer to the horizon? Looks like a light on a pole?) If its cloaked to make it invisible doesn’t it defeat the purpose to use running lights? (Or are they doing that to comply with FAA regs?) It looks like a something that floated away from a carnival.
I am more impressed by the Triangular shaped thing hanging out in the center of the thunderstorm.

The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.
