My favorite part was actually in the comments where this "not a Republican" guy tells off the Politico nut jobs by quoting prominent Democrats as saying:
"Perry indictment seems pretty sketchy." - David Axelrod
"It seems quite perverse to indict a governor for exercising his clearly delineated constitutional authority." - Ben White
My opinion is Perry will make hay with this. It might even help his 2016 bid. Even the Democrats know he did nothing wrong, and they're putting his name up in lights.
With a hardass like Rick on the "defensive," this is going to be fun to watch. I can't wait.

There is no bigger critic of pro-ILLEGAL alien Rick Perry than I...but I agree, this indictment is BS.

It's going to be interesting to hear the (D) politicians and commentators give reasons why the video-taped drunken DA should not have resigned...:^)

Even the local dims think this was a bad idea for the Travis County Dumb Ass to do this so close to the election. windy davis is already over 15% behind in the polls and this will add to Greg Abbot’s lead.
This is nothing but political payback from the DA’s office because Perry was doing HIS job. I hope the State office holders do their job and remove the public integrity unit from the DA’s office and give it to the State AG office.

Where was the grand jury when that judge was misbehaving?

So Cruz leads and the others follow if they feel it is safe to do so.

This is already majorly backfiring on the Dmes. Perry is going to come out of this smelling like a rose. I look for the charges to be quietly dropped very soon.
