This really does all go back to the civil rights days.

The only way I can see to really combat this is to start having wedding showers in gay bars.

I just don’t know what else can be done.

part of rights as human is free association. NYT is forcing association and punishing individuals who don’t obey

NY Constitution
[Freedom of worship; religious liberty]
Art I, §3.

The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship, without discrimination or preference, shall forever be allowed in this state to all humankind; and no person shall be rendered incompetent to be a witness on account of his or her opinions on matters of religious belief; but the liberty of conscience hereby secured shall not be so construed as to excuse acts of licentiousness, or justify practices inconsistent with the peace or safety of this state. (Amended by vote of the people November 6, 2001.)
What do these mean: Apparently nothing.

Sure, guys, let me check our schedule. Oh, no, what a shame that we’re booked that weekend. Bye!

Never ever refuse a service due to race, creed, or sexual preference.

A poster noting that the business is subject to human rights law must additionally be displayed prominently at the business.

Here's the poster. Guess what they left out of their list of things you can't discriminate against? Religion of course. You can and will be discriminated against for your religious beliefs in New York.

Thought experiment: Laz owns this farm.

I would refuse to pay. I would sell the farm quickly, for cash. I would move out of state and refuse all communications with any New York tyrants.

In fact, I actually DID move out of that freakin' hellhole.

Welcome to communists criminal Division of Human Rights of America. The power to fine has to be taken away from all departments of the Federal Government. Only the courts should have the power to judge and if necessary to fine.
