I have heard repeatedly....ad nauseam...that Mr. Brown was an UNARMED TEEN.
Completely missing is the context. Be truthful, media. He was unarmed, according to reports, because he was unable to take the gun away from the police officer.
It’s not much of a stretch to see organized efforts to exploit any opportunity when Law Enforcement is off balance. I put this right at Eric Holders doorstep.
I would say that this is the damage that is done by cops not holding themselves to a very high-standard. If cops never covered up for bad cops and we didn't regularly see abusive use of force, we could presume a certain level of trust in the police. Personally, I've lost that trust.
Exactly. It is indeed sad we can no longer take what the police say at face value. They’ve done this to themselves. They are NOT a protected class.
Completely irrelevant. The REAL issue is the overbearing response of the police to initially peaceful protestors in the first place, which provided the flashpoint for the rioting, looting, etc.
Which leads backwards to the even more endemic point about the police in this country in general being overly militarised and hating the Constitution.
THAT’S the issue, not a confrontation between one kid and a cop.
If his little finger passed through the window space, he was in the car.
I'm not accusing...just saying..
His friend says nothing about an attempt to take away the policemen’s gun.

He wasn't just standing there.
“What disgusts me is seeing a couple on here who use their left wing B/S to side with the lefts side because they are the ones who want to have no laws and hate the cops because they might have ben stopped for taking drugs, speeding, or not coming soon enough to their 9111 call over the dog next door crapping on their yard.”
Well said! You nailed it. Some even hate cops because they never qualified to get on the job for one reason or another.
Say for the sake of arguement that the cop's story is completely true and that Brown did try and take his gun away from him. He failed. The police officer retained posession of his firearm. So that when Brown was fleeing he was unarmed. He may have committed a felony and the officer would have been within his rights to arrest him. But when he was running and no longer a threat to the officer and had made no threat to anyone else then there was absolutely no justifiable reason to shoot him.
You’d have to presume they were all lying and that they held a secret conference call right after to get a cohesive story.
Maybe they just don't want people to be killed by police for little or no reason?
He repped for the Latin Kings.....
Guess you haven’t heard the phone calls from people who live in the area....Rush had them on yesterday....
I have real doubts about the stuff being spewed by the media.
Why should we automatically believe the cop regardless of race? He shot and killed exactly half the number of people who know what really happened. His butt is on the line. You don't think he has an incentive to slant the story to his favor?
We don’t even know how any witnesses there are.
I'm not accusing either. Just saying.
If the cop was black there would be no organized riots, thus no story.
One of them is clearly lying and both have motivation to lie.
In my misguided youth, I would have assumed the cop was telling the truth. I've since come to the conclusion that a cop is no more or less likely to tell the truth than anybody else.
So bring on the evidence and get to the bottom of it, come what may.
He is when he's 30 feet away and running in the opposite direction.
