Where’s the ice. . . one commentor claims the craters may be due to recent subsidence due to the volatiles being boiled out rather than impacts. . . but I must ask: subsidence from what gravity? The same commentor says the ice may exist as a frozen core where it collected after being melted by warming to a “briny liquid” by sun warming and impacts. Again, what gravity pulled it toward the center when there would be more mass away from the center, and vacuum will cause water and ice to vaporize away due to sublimation on its own, until none is left. None of this makes any sense.
