I watched the tape again and stopped it when Kevin was near Tony's car. It looks like Kevin was clear of the right front bumper and it looks like that's when Tony reamed it and his car left his line and veered to the right.

Kevin's dark suit was fully striped...I can't see where there would be any visual problem....especially in the dark.

You & I are seeing the
fully striped’ driving suit from the side-—with lighting from that angle.

What did all the drivers see? The FRONT of the suit—which we cannot see & we don’t know if there were ANY stripes on it.

I don’t think those stripes are REFLECTIVE, either, but it wouldn’t have reflected anything from Winged Sprint car because hey don’t have headlights.

I don’t think the divers could see Ward.

The only racing cars I know of which have lights are the off-road racers, such as Baja 1000 & Daytona/LeMans 24 hour cars.

Most of the ‘headlights’ you see on other race cars are just painted on.

This was a night race. With winged Sprint cars—and that wing cuts off side vision to the right side. The kid hit was wearing black driving suit. The drivers were NEVER expecting a PEDESTRIAN on the track.
