NASCAR star Tony Stewart hit and killed another driver who was walking on the track in a sprint car race on Saturday night.
The other driver, Kevin Ward Jr., had collided with Stewart on the previous lap, leaving Ward’s car with a flat tire and pushed into the wall. As officials threw a caution, Ward left his car and began walking down the track — gesturing angrily toward Stewart — before being clipped and dragged 50 feet by Stewart’s car.
Several spectators told Bob Pockrass of The Sporting News that Stewart appeared to throttle his car before colliding with Ward.

I don’t listen to a lot of sports radio but it’s a wild fire tonight, I’ll bet it comes up on some of the regular radio talk shows as well. Saddened this happened.
Are you suggesting this professional driver did not know a quick lap prior he had sent the victim vehicle into the wall?
Should this have not caused the suspect vehicle to proceed with extreme caution due to track debris, bodies, stalled vehicles etc, as he came around after this collision?

My questions to you are completely credible and legitimate, you however are being extremely evasive to the questions.

Well, I didn’t come here for a fight. I made some comments based strictly on the video and it seems some don’t like the questions and repeatedly evaded them.
If I were an investigator, I’d have a whole lot of question for the driver of the vehicle who struck the victim, in addition to witnesses and track officials. My hunch other video possibly exists as well, possibly from the vehicle in question and or others.
I’ve seen you around FR for a fairly long time, and so I’m surprised at such a sophomoric reply. Maybe I shouldn’t be.

You probably shouldn’t be. I mean a race track is a perfectly safe place to go running around in a fit of anger. Its obviously the guy who everyone loves to hate fault just because everyone loves to hate him.
Seriously, a guy runs up to within 1-2 feet of a race car going perhaps 40 mph on a slick surface and you’re blaming the driver???
After watching and listening to the video its clear that Stewarts car sped up just before impact. He might even have swerved into him.
Maybe there’ll be another video that will come out, or some analysis of this. But until then IMO, Looks like manslaughter.

Ward was deliberately stepping into the path of the cars, and making wild gestures. He blew it.
