The first woman to captain a Royal Navy warship could be facing the sack over claims she had an affair with a male subordinate.
Commander Sarah West, 42, has been flown back to the UK in disgrace following the claims of a sexual relationship with a member of her crew on HMS Portland.

Doubt it, the newspaper article specifically referred to "an unnamed male officer" involved who could also be in big trouble for being in the sack with the soon-to-be sacked officer. Also noted that she was divorced from some other service guy.
Truth to tell, she's not that bad looking... for a Brit.

Doesn’t the RN still still serve ‘tots’ of rum daily, don’t they? Perhaps more than several tots of rum in this case.
...apparently her male subordinate already jumped all over this....
there is one exception to the rules, and that is:
men and women can be friends IF neither find each other attractive.
