Our ‘hurry up’ culture and ‘ignoring’ simple needs of the children makes them use embarrassing words, act up, and hope their antics gets them attention, even if it’s negative.
We are all guilty because jobs demand time, and our priorities as a nation are out of order.
What will a child remember most, your clean house, your boss and others who come to dinner so you get a promotion, or the time spent with them going to the park, playing ball, and listening. A day on a picnic, or their parent hunched over a computer saying ‘be quiet I’m busy’?
