On June 2^nd, President Obama announced new EPA regulations that would impose significant restrictions on power plants.

Last week, environmental activists gathered in front of the EPA headquarters to show their support for the new regulations. […]

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce estimates the regulations could put 224,000 Americans out of work annually and increase electricity costs by more than $289 billion.

Even the EPA itself estimates that the new regulations will cause electricity prices to increase dramatically over the next 6 years. …

Yet the Chamber of Cronyism continues to support RINOs who do not oppose the regulations. Hmm, wonder why?

At what point are more people, businesses, and local/state governments going to tell the Fed to stuff and ignore their edicts?

The good news is the people who can afford the new rates will have their rates increased even more so that the people who can’t afford it will get low price or free electricity. It’s back ground redistribution. PERFECT for the bureaucrat tyrants in the EPA.

Just wait until it will cost as much to charge up that smartphone, as it does to fill up the fuel tank of your vehicle. Nobody will complain until the cost of electricity exceeds the cost of the devices it powers. And remember, obama himself said that the price of electricity needs to necessarily skyrocket. $2.00 a kwhr is just hope and change away. So just embrace the suck of the fundamental transformation. Obama wants nothing more than for the US to live like his third world muslim brethren.

I'm not aware of any restrictions that prohibit environmental activists from paying more for their utilities.
