School district officials were investigating a photo circulating on social media on Wednesday of a group of cheerleaders from Redlands East Valley High School posing in what appeared to be gang attire.
The picture showed some of the girls had stuffed their shirts to look pregnant, while others flashed gang signs and were holding simulated weapons.
Reaction to the photo was mixed.
One parent commented its really sad, after viewing the photo on Facebook.
Another parent thought it was just a harmless joke.

Much too wholesome for the Death to America crowd that dominates the so-called “entertainment” industry and so-called “academia.”.
It has done its best to eradicate such wholesomeness from American society — and has pretty much succeeded.
I don’t think that I would be happy if I were the mother of one of these young ladies.
This is going to sound harsh, but if they are anything like my Little Miss Lurkin at that age — they are already doing everything they can to make their mothers unhappy.
Just my opinion of course.
It’s fairly typical for mothers to find themselves at odds with their female offspring of a certain age, it seems.
It’s been my experience that “negative stereotypes” exist for a reason...they’re based on reality.
That would be fine, because 1930s gangsters were white males. It good, even desirable to hold white men up to ridicule and satire.
Liberal prudes can find anything whites do as offensive.
