Michael Fumento is a lawyer and journalist who specializes in mass hysteria. He lives in Colombia. Fumento is an excellent science author who wrote the book, "The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS," which predicted in 1993 that AIDS would continue to be confined mostly to the homosexual and drug user population. That was in direct conflict with the U.S. government's "AIDS Doesn't Discriminate" propaganda campaign, and he was absolutely correct.
If Fumento thinks Ebola doesn't present a significant threat, I'm inclined to give him a listen.

Fumento’s book on AIDS was a great read. At the time if you remember, Magic Johnson tested positive for it. Because of Fumento’s book I was and am still suspicious that he really has it.

I’m familiar also with Michael Fumento’s work, and agree with your assessment. He doesn’t write just to be writing.

He was forced out of his job at the Rocky Mountain News.
