Lewis Grizzard stuck in Chicago. That's funny. I made a few recordings of Lewis on the back of some of my University of Northern Colorado Jazz Lab Band recordings, and sent them back home.

My family said, 'Those are GREAT David, please send more Lewis Grizzard recordings!'

I cried when he died. It was so sad. 47 years old I think. He got married to his sweetheart just a week or two before he passed.

My personal favorite Lewis Grizzard story is the last confederate soldier. I still laugh everytime I hear it.
