“How is it dumb? Wasting hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on a hit-and-run suspect? Oh, I am sorry. Her charges were dropped because the mob wanted her off the hook. How convenient - run over cops and get off the hook!”

Uh, no. Her charges were dropped because she was guilty of only trying to run from unknown attackers. The pigs almost got run over by their own stupidity in assuming these girls understood they were cops. As in my above post, the girls had only moments to react to an attack, including a nut with a gun. Remember they were innocent of the reason for the stop. They had no reason to expect a police encounter.

It isn’t like this was two guilty people running from the consequences. Cops routinely cite their confusion when they make a mistake and harm the innocent, even in ridiculous situations like the Dorner hunt idiocy. Why then must our moments count decisions have to be more perfect than those of cops? Because we don’t have the magic badge?

These cops deserved what they got. If one had been killed, they’d have deserved it. Here is a tip. Next time, have a cop in a flipping uniform to make the stop. Under age drinking isn’t worth people getting hurt or killed over a misunderstanding. And keep the flipping gun holstered until you have a real reason to pull out the penis extension.

Yep!

I was accosted by an unmarked cop (for nothing more than being 18 and driving the speed limit) who didn't show ID and then threatened me for not pulling over right away. They asked to be road kill and would have deserved it had that been the outcome.

The ABC agents had just been transferred from another district where they had been violating policies. The director of that district just resigned after this incident.

The students had just come from a rape awareness class. They stopped to buy water for some volunteer project.

After moving down the road a short distance, they pulled over and called 911 to indicate that they thought they were being attacked. The ABC agents were leaning on the vehicle when they took off, so that’s their own fault.

Of course, why should you give a shit? Only when it’s your daughter. Then you’ll make a prediction that no child of yours would ever do such a thing.

It's nice to see some people able to read and or look at all the facts as to what happened.

You're absolutely correct, based on the article the young ladies did zip wrong, were guilty of nothing and they knew that. I'm not familiar with this case, but it appears when swarmed upon by armed people who apparently were not in uniform, they had just seconds to make a decision.

I'd say the young ladies were lucky several dozen rounds were not punched through their vehicle...

Crazy days..
