Mine, too. I went on the bus alone at that age to go to an elite dancing school in the high class area of Town.....maybe 5 miles from home.

My bro and I were always going someplace...he was 4 years older.

I went all over town by myself at the age of 6 and 7. I was fully independent. The parks in town were always full of kids and nobody had their mommies there. I grew up in los angeles in the 70s, so it wasn’t podunk rural.

Heck I was traveling miles from home by the time I was 10. Of course things were different then. We weren’t worried about terrorists, serial killers, or pedophiles like we are now.
