He SHOULD have lost his badge, gun, and any authority whatsoever to act as a “law enforcement officer.”
That’s not much of a price.
Of course, homeland security is full of these people.. and the irony is we’re supposed to be the threat.
And what of the due process of someone shot by these goons?
So he is still in a position to kill someone under the color of authority? I wonder how many voters in LV are upset by this. Apparently not enough to actually affect the department’s decision making.
And once again idiots and Facebook partner up to get the user into trouble. Thank goodness this time. I wonder if Lon Horiuchi has a Facebook page?
He fantasizes about blowing people’s heads off. Whether you give him a .308 rifle or a handgun, he still has the means to blow heads off. The problem will not be remedied until this guy is put in a purely office-bound capacity, where his fantasies about blowing off heads cannot possibly come to fruition, at least in his official capacity.
CWII Spark — Nor a spark, but more a warning; as one person upthread mused: “which side will the National Guard, Police, and military be on?”
Gee, ya think?
He should have been fired and disgraced for his anti-Taxpayer attitude. What a goon.
WHY wasn’t he FIRED? Sounds like a terrorist threat to me.
J. Bourne??
Jason Bourne???
Sounds like Officer Laws isn't the only one indulging in a bit of fantasy.

This works right into an email I sent to our county commission chairman, to wit: (She wrote to tell me she had lost my original email)
After searching MY sent emails, I find that MY copy is also missing. (NSA?? Only kidding — I think!)
That message was simply my effort to indicate my support for “Cop Cams” (those worn by each officer) in addition to the dash cams in the cars.
There appears to be an increasing amount of excessive force being employed by SOME officers in some jurisdictions. And while that problem has most likely been with us for decades, the proliferation of cell phone cameras and social media have brought it to the fore as never before. A collateral situation is police shooting and killing otherwise non-threatening dogs simply because they LOOK threatening. This family of animal lovers (all rescues) believes that must also stop.
The cost of this technology is falling every year and the benefits are several-fold. My guess is that the offset of the cost would be better police behavior, fewer complaints of misconduct and/or less litigation and increased citizen satisfaction with more uniformly administered law enforcement. “To Protect and Serve” would resume meaning what it did when I was growing up.
In controversial police/citizen interactions, the camera provides an objective, real-time record of the event, minimizing — or eliminating — false claims of “police misconduct” and the often frivolous but costly civil suits. I’m sure most of my fellow taxpayers would agree that that’s a financial burden we’d prefer to avoid.
The other benefit is that the cameras would also remind those wearing them that following correct, civil and courteous — police procedures would go a long way toward ensuring the longevity of their careers. The occasional — and inevitable — “bad apple” could be promptly identified and removed from contact with the public or the force. (That said, my few contacts with county officers in my 37 years here have always been completely satisfactory.)
As the graphic below indicates, this system DOES WORK very, very well and more departments are availing themselves of it each year.
Just by way of background, my Uncle Bob was a 30 year member of a suburban Cleveland, Ohio force, ending his career as their chief juvenile investigator. He was also my Best Man when Sharon and I wed 53 years ago. And my sister is married to another cop. So please understand that this DOES NOT flow from any feelings of enmity toward law enforcement. My concern flows from the disturbing increase in overreaching and overzealous ABUSES of police power at ALL levels.
Let me close by commenting that I always got the sense that you are as liberty minded as I am and simply suggest this system as but another method to preserve them. God knows that — especially at this moment in our history — we need to employ every peaceful method available to us.
I would urge you to investigate this matter with an eye toward implementing such a system here. A friend in Cobb just told me that they are doing just that.
As always, kindest regards,
Dick Bachert
Her reply:
Thanks, Dick, for taking the time to reconstruct your message. I have passed the information to the County Administrator and Police Chief and asked that this be reviewed for feasibility and cost. I appreciate your sharing the idea with me.
Trust me I WILL stay on top of this until it either gets done or they refuse. And if they refuse, they’d damn well better have some excuse well beyond the cost.
QUESTION: What’s going on where YOU live????
