So he is still in a position to kill someone under the color of authority? I wonder how many voters in LV are upset by this. Apparently not enough to actually affect the department’s decision making.

The Vegas police swat team was nowhere near the stand-off scene between the uniformed Vegas police and the militia.

In reality it was the uniformed police who were under threat, fearing for their lives. And when Cliven Bundy gave the order to advance on the corral where the BLM officers were located, the Vegas police got out of their way.

After the incident played out, all of the Vegas police co-operated with federal authorities trying to identify which militia members needed to be prosecuted. No doubt they resented these events and no doubt the swat officer also resented it.
