Pretty universally, it has been a case of ‘A poor choice, but it could have been far worse.’
And they will admit up front that no matter who is on the (D) ticket in 2016, they will vote for that person. Most (all?) would cast their vote now to be counted for whomever is running in 2016.
That's what I'm hearing. McCain was just plain scary, and Romney didn't come across as anything but the corporate raider who wouldn't stand up to Obama.
The "buyers remorse" belongs to us conservatives who, beginning with George 1, have been sold voting for the "lesser of two evils". Maybe we got what we deserved for voting for a kinder, gentler form of evil.
And you know what? It's going to be President Warren or President Corey Booker if the next Republican nominee doesn't inspire with the constitutional conservative vision of how to save the US.
