Congrats. I’ll celebrate 11 years on FR tomorrow. I signed up when the TX dims ran and hid in OK and NM to protest the redistricting in Texas.

The older threads were lost when the first server changeover occurred. they can sometimes be found on The Wayback Machine.

Quick story. I found FR because of Ann Coulter. Met her several years later. She was being interviewed on TV while I was on my PC. She mentioned FR and I immediately found the site.

I instantly signed up. I couldn't think of a screen name. I glanced at my bookcase and who do you think I saw? I than promptly misspelled it.

I'd lurked for a few months or maybe even more than a year when I heard Rush say: "The FReepers are going crazy about (forgot the subject)" but hunted FR down from there. I well remember the Dan Ra^THer fake but accurate issues.
