Er, Crime Story, I meant...

You beat me to it. We must be around the same age. What did you think of “The Prisoner” series?
To: Mears
Oh, jeez don’t even get me started on The Corner. Incredibly brilliant book and a miniseries that came awfully close to living up to it.
And Homicide was so brilliant in so many ways. The writing was almost always incredible, and the performances - Braugher, Melissa Leo, Kyle Secor, Yaphet Kotto, Clark Johnston - were just sublime.
I’m pretty sure I’m the only person alive who considers The Wire something of a letdown.

Firefly
Definitely.
Then Nathan wouldn’t have drowned his disappointment in ice cream and would have remained eye candy - no “Castle” though or as we know it anyway.

*laugh* No, the image still does not show.
However, I looked at the Page Source and followed the link to: "http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTI1NDU4NzMwMl5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMTg5ODcyMQ@@._V1_SY317_CR10,0,214,317_AL_.jpg".
Kojak was OK for its time I suppose, along with Baretta and his bird and 'Starsky and Hutch'. Along with 'Alias: Smith and Jones' and the ORIGINAL Battlestar Galactica and Happy Days. Hated 'Cagney and Lacey', though. 'Soap' was good, mostly, as was 'The A-Team'.

Even the villains had times when they were kind. Newt Call's part was really played very well.
I thought Deadwood was going to be good, but couldn't take the unnecessary foul language.

‘’Gunsmoke’’ was ready for a 21st season, but for some reason the rug was pulled out from under it. All the cast is now largely dead but for Buck Taylor and Burt Reynolds.

“The Vision of Escaflowne” (An anime series that was originally slated to run three seasons, but got cancelled after two — with enough notice to paste a hurried and unsatisfying ending into the last few episodes.)
“Spice and Wolf” (Another anime series that really needed another season — the romance between the main characters, a twenty-something merchant and a six-hundred year old fertility goddess who looks like a gorgeous sixteen to eighteen year old, save for the prick ears and bushy red, white tipped tail, was just getting interesting, but I guess plots driven by commerce and the older than usual male lead didn’t sell in Japan.)
