I'm not sure, but it seems to me that God used a whore to help save some Jews at Jericho.

Uhh...yeah, technically correct probably: Rahab the harlot (read the book of Joshua, Chapters 2 and 6, for the story). However given that she is listed in Hebrews 11 as a member of the exclusive pantheon of the champions of faith, and that she was the great-great grandmother of King David -- and thus in the line of our Lord Jesus Christ .... I think I'd be a little more respectful. Once a sinner (as are we all), but then through faith washed by the blood of Christ.

She is know for eternity in the Good Book as Rahab the harlot, I think he can be excused for using the modern vernacular.

In a recent sermon Charles Price said you won’t find too many role models of family men in the Bible particularly the old testament. Perhaps the holy family and a few others but most of the heroes of faith did not have family lifestyles we should follow.
