So what you are saying is that it is perfectly fine for the cops to give someone a beating for walking on the side of a state highway?

Well I don’t know what the highways are around where you live, but around here (LA) they are not meant for pedestrians.

At all.

This happened in LA I believe. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen someone walking on the freeways in LA.

The fact that she was there, barefoot, at all certainly meant to the cop that he was dealing with someone who was either on drugs or mentally not all there, it would seem.

Now I agree the cop sort of gave it to her, but I myself (just speaking for myself here) really didn’t see brutality in his actions.

That may be because I’ve gotten used to some stuff, but it didn’t seem like it to me.

Just saying.

I think what he’s saying is you gotta beat a woman once in awhile to knock some sense into her. Its for her own safety. Its not brutality if you are just teaching her a lesson. I bet she stays off that freeway from now on.
