I enjoy binge watching GOOD TV series. My most recent binge watch was "Mr. Selfridge" which I really enjoyed. I do my binge watching primarily via COUCH TUNER where you can watch most of the TV series of the past few years.
However, I don't like to waste my time on lousy series. Therefore list current or past series that should be on a MUST MISS list. I lead off with the new series "Tyrant." I wasted my time with it since it really STINKS. "Halt And Catch Fire" quickly went down the tubes as well.
Do you know how many episodes in all?
How would you know?
Game of Thrones starts out interesting, by second season you can see all the leftist values as normal. Most people don’t see it because they are marinated in those values.
Despite its production quality it is not a classic, that is for sure.
Google “Popcorn time”
Great Popcorn, Thanks FReeper FRiend.
Looks like many halted on Halt and Catch Fire. Male homo scene in 2nd episode was cheap and gratuitous. ctrl alt delete it.
TV? whats that?
Hello Rose! I am sorry you stopped reading -
‘stopped reading when Jamie became a hostage and was regularly abused (in detail) by the bad guy’ -
that part does not last too long, and Jack Randall is served a large dish of karma.
The rest of the series is amazing - the historical facts alone are a book in themselves.
I understand your meaning about the series - I hope it doesn’t go too far off; a lot of us will stop watching if it does. (yep, belong to the Ladies of Lallybrach and other assorted groups ) There is so much more to the books than the sex - and most of THAT is between Jamie and Claire.
If you reconsider and give them another chance let me know how you find the rest of the story!

Oh hello, back at ya!
I’ve never met an actual other Outlander - but I belong to a few groups on FB and it’s very fun to chat about this with others.
I’m on page 500-and-something of MOBY - wait - you called it MOBY, too! - are you a Hueligan or a Catriotte, too? :)
I have absorbed every one of the books since 1989 (??) - and have reread the series 8 or 9 times (before every new release). I guess some of them have been a little slow - Frasier’s Ridge, Roger.... :) .... in any case, glad to make your acquaintance!
We’re getting Starz just for this series, but if it sucks I will be content with the books. Hubby .... thinks it ridiculous.... :)
Oh man, are we two peas in a pod!
This’ll drive creepers crazy but I, too, started the Outlander series at about the same time. Read the last quarter of a Dragonfly straight through the night, in bed...my hubs, too, thought I was nuts.
I have a friend who went to Culloden for her honeymoon because she was so into the books. She and a few others are sceptical about how good the movies will be. DG thinks it’s good and the director’s wife loved the books so he said he stayed true to the story because she would kill him otherwise! Ha!
And yes, I’m on FB as a Heughan Heughligan (I think).
Glad to make an acquaintance with another Outlandish freeper...the best of both worlds! Keep in touch...
