've been saying this for years to the point my kids make fun of me.

I’ve seen thousands of diet claims over the years. I wonder which one is right?
Taking in less calories than you burn will cause weight loss every time.

Cut the carbs and it works like a charm. When I want to gain weight I add potatoes to my meals.

I sure believe this.
Many men will take another piece of meat, or another taco for dessert, over a piece of cake, or pie.
Feed a man a big meal and then bring out a beautiful, lucious chocolate cake, but before he cuts it, ask him if he would prefer a small, bacon wrapped filet mignon that for some reason, you are already cooking in butter.

Isn’t that the basis for the Atkins diet?
I tried it & lost 15lbs but cravings for pasta & mashed potatoes took control so I stopped.

Has this been cleared with Michelle Obama? She pretty much knows it all.

Proportion of protein in Western diets has dropped - which could account for obesity levels Poeple must eat enough protein to satisfy appetites, scientists say. This is, of course, why India traditionally had large amounts of obese vegetarian Hindus wandering around.
Like that porker Gandhi.

Looks like the media is starting to figure out what MILLIONS OF AMERICANS already have - and that food “recommendations” from government is TOTALLY POLITICIZED.
Now that the mechanisms of how carbs are processed are being understood, and the monster-grain that wheat now is, people can make INTELLIGENT DECISIONS for themselves, such as the following:
1) Stay off wheat - it is now poison due to hybridization, it is not your grandmother’s wheat, not even close.
2) Stay light on other carbs - some, yes, but they turn straight into body fat if you eat a lot.
3) Meat, vegetables, nuts, and other stuff - have at it!!

I think the new and improved Weight Watchers is really good.

People are different, so some don't respond to lower calories or more exercise to lose weight. I am one who doesn't but on Keto I do lose weight without feeling hungry all day.
The key to keeping the weight off after the diet is to limit carb intake to one or two servings a day.....

This is so true. We have laid off the carbs and started drinking the canary seed milk every evening. Its a natural weight loss supplement and it will lower your blood sugar and flush fat out of the body and arteries. Its high in protein and calcium. We have both lost quite a bit of weight and we feel better.

This is the diet people used to eat until the USDA started selling positions on their fraudulent "food pyramid" to the highest bidder.
