Musk oxen are wandering into the city on the Seward Peninsula, and despite loud noises, water hoses and even a blow-up bear coated in ursine urine, they don't want to leave.

Unnngh. It’s humid here, too, but not that bad.
We’ve been to the gym. Now we’re having lunch, and then we’ll go to the Lego Store. I told the byos that if they could agree on a reasonably-priced set, I would get it for them (collectively). We’ll see how it works out!

I’m pretty sluggish right now, but think I’ll walk down to the mail box and drop in a letter. Just for the exercise. Maybe I will feel better after that. Ungh.

I will now head for Walmart, and see if I have enough for a Pur water filter. Dang. I knew it was getting close, but the light didn’t turn yellow until yesterday, so it wasn’t on my list. I hate surprises...
The little walk didn’t feel too bad, though my hips are pretty stiff. I blame that on the fall I took in May. Good thing my bones are strong. I hate the thought of being invalid.
79 degrees, now and the humidity has dropped to 78%. Dang monsoons.
I’m still waiting for maintenance to come and take the serial numbers from the appliances so I can clean up my kitchen once more. Dang. It was supposed to be done by Friday. I hate being held hostage.
He has too much energy sometimes
One thing is for sure...he won’t get a sunburn. Dogs never sunburn. Don’t ask me why. I ain’t God, so I can’t answer.
My friend is thinking of taking my niece’s pit bull mix, and I really hope he does. She looks like a real keeper; we will know tomorrow.

I got the boys a small “Chima” set and a bin full of various bits.
I always figured if the kids didn’t like what I offered to buy, they could go without. Period. They learned early to make decisions.
So MUCH flooding in the valley, today. That soft soaking rain we had all night had caused 30 accidents by 0300. The sun is trying to shine, now, but my hands are telling me it ain’t gonna work!
I was going to fill out some papers for Busdaddy (my printing is much better than his) but it is so humid that my hand stuck to the page, and I had to print a new one. I’m not about to run the A/C for something I’ll get no reimbursement for.
I hope you have some positive news. What does the vet say? Keeping the prayers going for all of you!

I just put some things in the mail for tomorrow. The mail-person has taken to leaving our outgoing mail in the box, probably to get even for the guys’ parking the car or truck in the way.
The mail man hates to have the box blocked, don’t make them work too hard to give you mail. They only get paid for about 8 seconds per house.
I thought i updated all the threads. It seems I haven’t updated this one.
I decided not to take him this morning. It is a 4 hours round trip to the vet. When he got up he went out and wanted to go for our usual walk. Still using 3 legs.
He seems maybe a bit better. NO swelling, nothing can’t even feel heat anywhere on the leg, you know like a fever. Checked the toes and paws, nothing.
I walked him for only a short distance, he used 3 legs then went over the bank down to the creek, and it is a steep bank. Walked back up not crying from pain.He only kinda whines when he has to get up. He was outside up till 20 min ago. He has walked up and down the stairs on the front porch a few times(only 4 steps). I can see that is a bit rough for him, I see he is trying to use the hurt leg at times.
I even saw him once next to the wood shed looking for a chip-monk earlier today.
He is inside now asleep I will have him inside the rest of the day. If he seems to be better tomorrow I won’t take him to the vet. If he worsens overnight i will take him to vet.

Not ignoring you, just rather busy at the moment.
Three of the Computers that normally talk to each other have decided not to anymore. They are being rebuilt as we speak.
