For my b’day I received a four set of Monty Python DVD’s. I laughed my self sick over them. I was only twelve.
The Marty Feldman shows were wonderful. He had Pythons writing for them. A golden age for British comedy.
Anybody seen the new show “Vicious” starring those masters of knockabout comedy, Sir Derek Jacobi and Sir Ian McKellan? It’s the old show Rising Damp with two of the biggest queens in show biz. Not hilarious but has possibilities.

What amazed me was when I realized how Monty Python appealed to kids.
My brother and his wife took care of six greek boys (Nephews) from age 4 to 12, and I looked out the window at them, and they were laughing and giggling as they faithfully re-enacted entire Monty Python sketches!
It really floored me!
