one person thinks the rash may be from the condition affecting his feet...that it could be from a form of blood poisoning. I’m so thankful for all the prayers as I’m sure they were heard and that’s why he has an appointment with his primary care doc tomorrow. It’s usually harder to get in with her, so this is truly a blessing!

Hope he is better after his appointment!

A friend of mine suggested this: “Similar situation and Dr. (Podiatrist) advised against Neosporin due to it being oil based and keeping it from being able to drain properly. Also said to use white vinegar with water to soak several times a day. He compared vinegar to some prescription med. He gave us Gentamicin Sulfate cream for after soaking. The toe nail did have to come off. Doing these things for a short time made it come off easier.”

Can’t hurt...might help. Even the white vinegar without the meds was suggested.
