Thank you. Those prayers are definitely appreciated! If the urgent care center says he needs to see a podiatrist, will the podiatrist be ready to treat him aggresively for the condition he is facing? What about his primary care doctor? They want to see him/evaluate him before they schedule/refer him to the podiatrist!

By the way, I can pray for him and you. I just wish I lived closer. You would not be dealing with this. You do the need help of someone local.

I would first call an infectious disease specialist and ask for help, and ask to speak to the doctor himself, or to his nurse, or his PA (physician’s assistant), or call the Urgent Care facility and ask them for a referral to an infectious disease doctor, or call the podiatrist and ask for a referral to an infectious disease specialist, or move into the hospital Emergency Room and ask for an infectious disease specialist.

Count the days you have been dealing with this and the advancing infection and be sure and tell them you are now very concerned this is spiraling into danger. They will listen. Let us know.
