Really strange place for an earthquake. Magnitude is consistent with an underground nuclear test. More at USGS site.

That’s where our daughter & son-in-law are. He’s active Air Guard out at Clear. We’re going up the 1st week of December as their 3rd baby is due on Thanksgiving!

I notice the 4 Corners area is stable, yet with all those gas wells and fracking there you would think it would be a whole lot of shaking going on, that is IF fracking caused earthquakes.
On the other hand, it looks like the Raton area, where there are no gas wells, is all shook up. Maybe it is all those old coal mines collapsing.
