We might want to find a new place for this next year, Yahoo isn’t doing a very good job.
I agree, TNT is terrible. Isn’t this their last year in broadcasting NASCAR since NBC (?) is coming in next year...
Didn’t watch the post-race show but Keselowski cut his right hand on the champagne bottle and had to have stitches at the care center & change his bloody fire suit to continue with the necessary media requirements.
Thanks, a bit more detail.

Keselowski cuts hand in victory lane:
#2-Brad Keselowski cut his hand while in victory lane at Kentucky and had to go to the infield care center for treatment on his right hand:
WHAT HAPPENED IN VICTORY LANE?
“We were playing around with some champagne bottles and as I told my good friend, ‘We should have stuck with beer.’ We were having too much fun with champagne and one of the bottles broke and I cut my hand open. It’s no big deal.”
HOW MANY STITCHES?
“Four, but it’s all fixed now, so we’re good.”
EVERYTHING IS AN ADVENTURE WITH YOU.
“Yeah, welcome to the party. It’s all good. I’m just glad we won. It’s a lot better story when you win and get hurt.”(Ford Racing)(6-29-2014)
Joe Gibbs Racing extends Kenseth’s contact:
Dollar General expands sponsorship: Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) and Dollar General announce an expanded partnership with a multi-year agreement for the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and beyond.
(Could this possibly pertain in some way to Cousin Carl???)
In addition, JGR announces the contract extension of driver Matt Kenseth that will keep him behind the wheel of the #20 Dollar General Toyota. Dollar General, based in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, will increase its sponsorship to 30 races with Matt Kenseth and the #20 team, up from 27 in 2014 and 17 in 2013. One of the top contenders within the Sprint Cup Series, Kenseth is currently fourth the 2014 point standings with five top-five, 10 top-10 finishes and one pole award through the first 16 races. In 2013, his first year driving for JGR and Dollar General, Kenseth celebrated seven wins, marking both a Series and career-best season.
“Extending my deal with JGR is exciting and I’m still hoping we can match our win total from last year, but it’s really been a special year-and-a-half together,” Kenseth added. “Joe and J.D. have been fantastic and show a commitment to providing all of us with the resources needed for a winning organization and I’ve been blessed with a great team led by Jason (Ratcliff). The support we get from TRD has been tremendous and I’m excited for the future here with the #20 Dollar General team.”(Joe Gibbs Racing)(6-28-2014)
Six Hours at the Glen Livefeed...
Is the Bacon Man still with us or is he consumed with drag racing ...
Haven’t seen Pete post in awhile and did you know, true story, that they now have taco shells made with bacon??
No I Didn’t know about that. I hope to go downtown and pickup the barrel of really good wine you left for me. Did you get to meet my son and grandson and was the restaurant open on the Klamath?
LOL! Just put some eggs in the other hand and stand in the sun. Heck I’d be afraid to put them on Me, not sure if I would eat my wound or the the dogs beat me to it.
Missed your son & grandson. The story on your “barrel” of wine is a guy owns just a few acres above Sonoma in the hills and only bottles 130 cases per year .we skipped Klamath Glen as we had ribs in Santa Rosa but did stop by Trinidad (thanks for that tip 2 years ago) and ate at the Beachcomber Cafe and bought 2 pds of fudge there too.
