I can remember when a heater was optional.
I have seen something recently which is a new one on me.
A couple, maybe 3 different vehicles which are all black. I mean black trim, black wheels, black wall tires. Everything is all black.
At first I assumed they were unmarked police cars but I don’t think they are and like I said, two or three different brands but done the same way.

Remember the car seat which hooked over the regular seat? If you were lucky, your had a steering wheel as well. :)

The black car gangsta style thing is the result of universal car AC.
But look at the bright side. On a hot day in Texas, you can use your sharp black gangsta car for a bread oven.

When I was a t Ft. Riley, KS, I bought a completely restored '66 MGB. The vehicle had been a one owner car for it's (at the time) 25+ years, and had every service record, original owner's manual etc.
It had all the options: AM radio, leather seats, heater, wire wheels, lap belts and ash tray, lol. In some ways, that was the most fun car I ever owned.

Ive seen a few cars lately that are all black and also FLAT black. Are they supposed to be a stealth vehicle invisible to police radar or something? That would be a neat trick.

My daughter just bought a used 2012 Ford Escape for her horse business just like that...everything is black. It looks really sharp. Got a super deal, too, because CarMax said it had been hit and had structural damage. We had a shop go through it in detail and there were no signs of structural damage stem to stern...just some minor upper body damage on the rear lift gate which had been well repaired.
