I like black berries too. My granny used to make a combo of blackberry and grape jelly from the wild plants on her farm. Then she would give everyone some for Xmas.
I also like to can the black berries in a light syrup. Open a jar, and scoop out a bowl full and float some heavy cream on them. Very delicious snack.
Our poblano peppers are kicking out some real beauties this week. I have started drying paprikas as they are turning red.
Heard on local radio that a mountain lion had been spotted here in Camden County. Kitty, kitty, stay away from my cat !
