I don’t think even Laz would hit that.

T-Mobile has the worst service. Paying anything for that lousy service is getting raped.

Er, not if you’re a stockholder. Every quarter, the money formerly belonging to their customers is deposited in my brokerage account.

I use Verizon’s network through a MVNO.

My service is under $30/month. Real Verizon are paying close to $80/month for the same product.

Raping? depends on how you look at it, I guess.

I would like to make a recommendation that a different member of the T-Mobil team receive a well-deserved promotion to speak for the company:

I use prepaid. If I don’t like the service, I cancel it.

People are foolish when they sign up for a 2 year contract with any cell provider.

ATT = $120 a month plus taxes, fees etc. for a Samsung Galaxy with limited minutes and data.

Metro PCS (owned by T-Mobile) same phone flat rate no hidden fees and unlimited usage $60 a month

Guess which one I picked?

I know about Verizon DSL, which is all we can get in this area.

If you have this service, you pay for prehistoric “speed” which goes out for an average of two days whenever it rains. That means a call to a Verizon robot in India, which entails about 45 minutes or more on hold, and then the robot will insist that your problem must be a modem which needs to be turned off & on, no matter how many times you’ve called before with the same problem. The robot will keep you on the phone for roughly an hour, getting all of your information wrong, telling you he can’t find you in the records, and having to take you through it all again, until you end up going nuclear on him.

Any and every question you ask will be met with “Stay with me” and being put on hold. Seriously, EVERY question. After this happens six or seven times, he will come back, you will tell him not to put you on hold again, and he will hang up on you.

Then you will look at the card in your hand, the one the last repairman gave you-—the one who said everything was fixed for good!-—and you will see the words “Providing Excellent Customer Service.” You will either dissolve into tears or hysterical laughter, and what comes out of your mouth would guarantee a zot.

....Legere had harsh words for competitors AT&T and Verizon. “These high and mighty duopolists that are raping you for every penny you have,” he said. “The f—ers hate you.”

The Richard-Simmons-lookalike followed up his statement by offering "I'd take you out to dinner first. And I'd respect you in the morning!"

What a moron. None of these carriers “rape” anyone. If you don’t like one of them go to a different one. We actually live in a great period of time with the ability to surf the net at high speed over a smartphone. Pretty cool. The glass is half full not empty.

My mom was paying about $180/month to AT&T for 4 lines. She called in May to drop one of the phones and found out she was overpaying for services never used. This month’s bill was less than $60 for 3 lines. They said the plan had changed and she shouldn’t have been charged that much, who knows how many months she was gouged because she never was informed of the plan change.

I have a GoPhone that I have had since Dec 2007 and still on the $1/day when used plan. But I rarely talk to anyone and get the 200 texts for $5. I get the $25/3 months cards and that is more than enough.

AT&T is the best one in this area for coverage.

Verizon’s customer service is generally bad, and AT&T’s is worse. We have had few problems with Verizon’s actual phone and network service though - just pray you don’t have a problem that requires you to call Moe, Larry or Curly in Customer Service.
