Whoa, I've been banned at FR since...what was it, 2011?
I take a glance at FR to see if there are any interesting articles posted, and it says I have mail, which I don't think I had access to. No messages to me from FR. But when I go to post, no more rude comment informing me my posting privileges are revoked.
Was there a general amnesty or something? I was banned (apparently) for my stubborn backing of the the eventual 2012 GOP Presidential nominee.

Mother in law just recently lost her cat.
She’s been cat shopping, but is insisting she doesn’t want another cat.
When it's a choice between Romney and Obama, people would consider Romney as the lesser of two evils.
Others would reject that, prefer the greater evil get elected, under the assumption that this would lead to a resurgence of Conservatism, whose emergence would lead to more than making up for having four more years of Obama.
It remains to be seen whether any resurgence will save the Constitution in time. If Amnesty passes, we're done.

Sorry you got banned on the Romney thing - I think we can all look back and see he would have been the FAR BETTER choice. I like him now more so than before, I was extremely disappointed when Obama got it again, really thought Romney would win. Not that I was a big fan, but beat the heck out of the alternative.
I quit posting voluntarily here for about a year, just so sick of the anti-mormon crap and as we all know - he is a Mormon so we got Obama instead. Oh joy.

My aunt has had her cat for a year (after her 15 year old cat died). She says the new cat will live longer than she will so she won’t have to worry about cats any more.
Sad but kind of funny story: An 87 year old neighbor lost his wife and his daughter persuaded him to get a cat. He loved the cat but complained it wasn’t eating, even when he added milk to it’s dry food. His eyes were bad and it turned out he had gotten the cat litter mixed up with the dry food. His daughter remedied the situation and he and his cat are best friends now.
Yikes.
Mother in law probably will end up with another cat.

Some idiot let their Siamese loose, cat got lost, and after two months being lost, found her way to my mother in law.
Previous owner didn’t give a flying leap, and the cat was very attached to my mother in law.
She bought really good cat treats.

The only difference is that he claims an “R” label to his affiliation.

Mitt was certainly an imperfect candidate, but we live in an imperfect world. There was no way he would overcome Obama’s cult of personality, at any rate. He was a moderate, to be certain, but I reluctantly voted for him and would do so again over Obama. I think his misguided religion turned a lot of otherwise well-intentioned voters away from him, and I think that is the main reason he continues to be this site’s Emmanuel Goldstein.
I see that you have gotten some nasty replies. Ignore the rude naysayers and the childish zot-obsessed types. I generally do just that and my experience here is far more pleasant as a result. I am perfectly free to think for myself and do not seek anyone’s approbation when it comes to my conservative bona fides.
