HOW did you delete your account? I’ve been trying (off and on) to figure out how that’s done since I signed up.

It’s relatively easy to “suspend” it, but actually *delete* it? I’ve never seen anything where that can be accomplished.

I heard it’s in the “help” area (as editor-surveyor said) buried as a tiny link in the terms of service (I think). But WHERE? I’ve looked pretty hard and I can’t find it (although granted it’s been a while).

Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I remember it being complicated and taking a while for them to actually delete the account. They really don't want you to so they don't make it easy on purpose. It's been about a year since I did it and I can't possibly remember how or where exactly. I'm sure it would be where you manage your account, though.

One thing I learned is after you do delete if you go back to FB even just to browse someone else’s page it will kick your account back to active. I make sure I have noting ever to do with anything FB so they don't try to activate me again but I'm pretty sure they deleted it because it said in 30 days (I think it was 30) the account would automatically delete.

I hope that helps a little and good luck.

You have to click on a link in help that offers investigating deleting the account.
