That philosophy will only work in a city or town of some size-those of us who live in rural areas are here because we own responsibility for ourselves and don’t want or need a mommy to make rules for every little thing like many cities do...
Indeed, the greater cheek by jowl people live, the more local rules are required. As I said, local laws should fit the local circumstances.
But the yahoos with pitbulls who end up killing toddler family members are ignorant and despicable, and I’m fine with laws that limit family members taking such chances with their offspring.
