Bulletproof old Nikon d40 with a pair of lenses and some decent seats across from No. 1 pit, Grandstand 1, sec. 3. The 300mm got me over the track and into the stables, funny because the "club" seats above them cost (I am told) $5000.00 for the event and the jet set was all leaning over trying to see what was right in front of us. I've been trying to learn from all those SWAMPSNIPER threads... But it's not easy shooting a race car at full speed. Panning seems to be the best approach. Sorry I don't have time to post more... These were some of the best, and I try to show you some of the people who make it possible, like the lonely guys with the extinguisher we saw on our long walk back... golux
