I was reading there's a shortage of commercial pilots. The Navy doesn't want him, some civilian carrier might. With any luck, he'll land (pun intended) a plum job with a large carrier for some serious $$$$.

Seniority system by unions. Military PICs go from front seat and large and in charge to left seat second banana hauling ass and trash for entry level pay. Pretty much just sucks for years.
