Homosexual activists are outraged after ExxonMobil once again refused to explicitly include sexual preference in its anti-discrimination policy, marking the 17th time the company has done so.
New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli has led the charge to add sexual preference to the gas companys equal opportunity policies, which currently state that individuals employed by or seeking employment with the corporation will be evaluated without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, citizenship status, age, genetic information, physical or mental disability, veteran or other legally protected status.
ExxonMobil argues that their zero-tolerance standards for discrimination already exceed federal regulations and apply equally to every worker, regardless of sexual preference. The company has also offered full benefits to legally married same-sex couples since the Supreme Court struck down key provisions of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in 2012.
But homosexual activists say its not enough for ExxonMobil to simply declare all discrimination out-of-bounds: they want homosexuals and transgender people specifically highlighted as off limits.
Some gay activists have called on Barack Obama to issue an executive order forcing the company to comply with their demands.

wow...what a visual !
This is one reason why I always shop at Exxon Mobile if I have a choice (in the area)!!!!
What are the “openly gay” homosexuals going to do? Boycott them? ROTFL! Sexual deviants are sickos.
DiNapoli is like Cuomo. They just can’t stand to have those evil free enterprise type organizations in New York. Gotta find a way to ‘encourage’ them to get outta da state!
“The company has also offered full benefits to legally married same-sex couples since the Supreme Court struck down key provisions of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in 2012.”
Exxon has already given in to the homosexual activists and give benefits to the gays and their lovers.
Huh?!?

Yep. Already covered.
It’s becoming beyond tiresome to see the constant pushing for special status by the LGBT crowd.
“But homosexual activists say its not enough”
Isn’t that kind of what they always say?
They’re covered already under the “mental disability” protection.
he can’t write a lawful eo against a private company. eo’s are only for executive agenices.
Whaaaaaat???
I had no idea that oil companies were part of the executive branch of government.
Shite
I’ll buy more Tony this week for sure.

Are any of the Blaffers still kicking?
Only old Texas folks will understand that...
