Someone should do a story on all the billionaires over the past several decades who gave huge sums of money to failed cities like Newark and Detroit. It never works. The billionaires get suckered and some government bureaucrats and the Mafia get the money.

Since we obviously have a drunken sailor here, can we just call FR a “school district” and get 100 million too?

They mean well, but the money will be wasted. Instead, they should have funded a start-up company to create a complete, accredited, K-12 programmed instruction course for iOS and Android.
Genuine educational improvements are going to require the unschooling of normal children in large numbers. Give them a way to bypass the dead Socialist Indoctrination Centers and the next Renaissance will begin.
