Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones was fined an undisclosed amount Sunday and will undergo educational training after sending a negative tweet about Michael Sam, the first openly gay player to be selected in the NFL draft.
Shortly after the St. Louis Rams took Sam in the seventh round Saturday, Jones tweeted OMG and Horrible. The tweets were taken down a short time later.
Jones apologized for his comments Sunday and described them as inappropriate. The Dolphins said Jones has been excused from all team activities until he completes training related to his comments.

I cut the cable several years ago. It seems like it would be a big deal and you would miss so much but it really isn't. I find other things to do instead of stare at the box or I watch Netflix and Youtube on my Roku player. There is so much more content that is geared to my exact interests on Youtube than there ever was on cable. There are channels on everything from farming/gardening to survival to guns to history, to political debates,etc...You can actually find conservative, non-statist, free market programming that does not have to go through a filter.
At first it was a money saving thing but at this point I wouldn't hook the cable back up if they gave it away for free.
America has to teach the NFL (and espn a lesson).
The RAMS should become a career suicide move for any player and the most financially dead team.
it should be so bad that the name will become so poisoned that they have to change it to something else.
