It is odd that one of the major characters on the show--going back nine years--didn't get a silent clock. Especially with such a dramatic exit.

We were stunned over here that Heller really died. We didn’t think it would actually happen. Unbelievable. This show is not predictable.

That reminds me,--Heller is the first sitting president on 24 to die. John Keeler and Wayne Palmer were never declared dead, just shuffled off camera and forgotten. There was some legal reason for it, I think. I don't know what's changed now, but Heller is the first to die on camera.
