Same goes for sneakers. Unless you happen to be jogging or playing tennis, they make you look like you should still be in junior high.
I agree, not not totally... depends what you are up to. If I'm home and only running to my local stores or to the vet before I start my chores, I often wear t-shirts that show my love for the Western Maine Mountains. I've met a few people that have either been up to the lake, or right in the area... and I even met a family that has a house there over on the other side of my same most favortie place. But if I'm going to the movies, gathering publicly with friends, going to bigger box store, well, I'm intentionally much more private. You could say I'm better dressed and I'd agree. But I do that for safety, not because I think it's silly. I like sports jerseys and will smile at people sometimes if I love the team they support, but I never engage in conversation and I just keep going...
How do you feel about flip flops...
I'll take people walking around in sneakers over the constant sound of flip flop flip flop flip flop all around every minute. Sometimes I just can't get away fast enough. I guess that's why they're called flip flops...
Why am I not surprised that someone who lives in the aberration of Massachusetts makes such a ridiculous statement? Oh, let's all wear shoes vetted by Cape Cod Country Clubs. Why do I get the feeling you'd look absurd in athletic footwear? LOL Some day a Bundy Squad is going to come and take back the whole east coast.
