It’s led Elio to suggest the emissions from driving its cars 20,000 miles per year will produce lower greenhouse gases than the emissions of a cow.

But riding a cow on the freeway might be safer.

So far, it's enough of a buzz that over 15,000 people have put down deposits for the car, according to Elio's website Probably some checkbox on the Obamacare website that enrollees don't understand what it means.

I imagine cows are also harder to tip over.

Saw a clip of Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear driving a 3 wheeler. A scream.
I’ll see if I can find it.

How many times to manufacturers have learn and relearn the lesson that 3 wheeled autos are inherently unsafe.

Its exactly a Can-Am Spyder! All he did is enclose it.... It is very similar, but with a much wider wheelbase. At $6800, it is a fourth of what my Spyder cost, but has only about half the horsepower, and none of the fun.
That being said, I would like to test drive one, to see what it has.

They made 3 wheeled cars in Britain for many years. Supposedly because they were taxed at the lower rate of a motorcycle.
Jeremy Clarkson flipped one half a dozen times during a 50 mile cruise on Top Gear.
