An elderly Missouri man dialed 911 and asked for an ambulance to come and help his ailing wife. Instead, the police showed up, threw him to the ground, sat on his head and handcuffed him.
He later received stitches for his injuries.
I never had anybody jump on me for doing nothing, said the man, Elbert Breshears of Humansville, Missouri, in a statement to KSPR 33.
The trouble began after Breshears called to get help for his wife, who suffers from dementia. He asked for paramedics to come provide assistance to her after she knocked out one of their homes windows.
The Humansville police arrived first, however.
According to Breshears, an officer tackled him right away, and then barked at him to stand up.
He told me to get up, recalled Breshears. I told him I couldnt.

Humanville Police sounds like animals.
I used to be a big supporter of cops. Not anymore. When thugs like this start disapearring or decorating lamp posts I will probably quietly cheer.
Repeated ad nauseam in community after community...
I guess he was pissed there was no dog to shoot.
I was VERY naive...
...to say the least,
...but I was very young and trusted government--thought it benevolent.
“No dog...” love it!
There has got to be more to this story than a few paragraphs in The Daily Caller.
It makes no sense.
.
sounds like they should change the name of the town to “Inhuman-ville”
Inhuman ville
You would have to have been there to judge. There are abusive police. But there are also idiots who police have to deal with.
Old man was probably a ‘domestic terrorist’ as defined by Hairy Reed.
And those friendly officers will proceed to “protect & serve” the ever living s#it out of you.

Me too. I guess we had a rude awakening huh?
Now it's more like "Comply or Die".
Litle did America suspect that when the police write “To protect and to serve” on the sides of their cruisers, it means to serve up Joe Citizen for dinner to officers as violent - and ravening - as Pit Bulls.
Well the officers were afraid for their lives, so they took appropriate action to make it home safely.

My first warning came in junior high school, when I read an article in the Readers Digest about IRS abuse. I was shocked but though that it must surely be a mistake of come kind.
Conviction came when I was in the Army in Europe. I received orders to go to a Middle East war zone. I was packed, ready, dressed in combat fatigues, and waiting for the air plane to leave. As I waited, I saw President Nixon to TV saying: "We have no plans to send any of our troops" I knew he was lying, because I had orders to go. The plans were later cancelled, and I didn't go, but there were definitely "plans" to go. I was one of them.
