Never betray your friend when she tells you anything about her child. Not good.
mums the word
ha!
Did I accidentally open a fortune cookie or is this FreeRepublic???
Some further explanation might help.
You stumbled upon the ‘humor’ , ‘general chat’ departments of FR.......
Paging Viking Kitties. Cleanup in the main aisle.
And just in case, IBTZ.
Is there an actual story or link?
Well, when Moms confide to each other about their children in an effort to solve problems, it is really a grand-slam relationship-buster when one mom reveals to the other mom’s child a portion of the confidence in an effort to help the situation at hand.
It is definitely a mom-thing.
So, I just thought of a cute play on words to identify this phenomenon.
Since Doug has about 12 years time in service over you here on FreeRepublic, I dare say it's you who've "stumbled" onto something, and the kittehs aren't going to like it, boot.
I’m assuming this is PUI?
Paging all ‘Moms’.........Help.......I’m stuck here in the ‘Humor Aisle’ with people who are taking this all too seriously......
I looked up a couple of definitions of humor. Odd and irrelevant were not synonyms.
Never happen.
That’s because mom’s are women.
Women cannot keep secrets.
Wow, you were my only friendly reply to something that I thought was a cute quip that I posted in ‘Humor’......if interested, take a look at the range of responses.....I conclude that Moms do not read FR between the hours of 4pm-6pm PDT.....
First Jive Dude: Hey, you know what they say: see a broad to get dat booty yak ‘em...
First Jive Dude, Second Jive Dude: ...leg ‘er down a smack ‘em yak ‘em!
First Jive Dude: COL’ got to be! Y’know?
I conclude no one who signs up bothers to familiarize themselves with the policy on vanities.
