Isn’t is the same leftists who are vegetarians and think we should eat more beans and less meat, who are also the environmentalists concerned about GHG emissions? What do they want from us?

That's it! I'm not eating baked beans any more. I'm switching to boiled cabbage.

Since Heinz has a major share of the baked beans market in the UK, they’ll probably be a corporate target for some sort of climate tax.

Banning one of the worlds cheapest, most plentiful and healthiest food products will do for world hunger what banning DDT did for Malaria.

And thus, what would have been a great Monty Python skit in 1970 continues to appear as reality today.
Brits eat beans almost every day for breakfast.
If it is blowing up the ozone layer, it will start there first.

What???? Do you want to kill us all??????
Boiled cabbage produces (for me at least) flatus that emits a stench 10X that of beans.

We read a thread here a week or so ago indicating that the average person poots 13 to 21 times per day.
I went to bed early that night, popped one off and shouted to wifey "One!"....and she countered with, "It's not midnight yet, so that one is off-quota".
