***THE OFFICIAL FRIDAY SILLINESS THREAD***

Posted on 04/11/2014 5:49:04 AM PDT by Lucky9teen

You’re probably already aware of the phrase, “kids say the darndest things.” Well, it is a saying for good reason. Our little proteges, whether they are toddlers or teens, are more aware and clever than most people give them credit for. Their growing minds are like sponges (with attitudes). So don’t be surprised if you ever discover how awesomely hilarious some children are.

You’re not convinced? Well, here’s 25 awesome examples.

1.) Simple, elegant and hilarious.

2.) Fair point.

3.) Well, he’s not wrong.

4.) Now THAT’S how you math.

5.) Touche.

6.) A+

7.) That teacher is heartless.

8.) I love the name “Tedison.”

9.) Well, that’s a little cynical.

10.) LOL.

11.) Close, kid, close.

12.) This is just brilliant.

13.) You have to respect his honesty.

14.) BURNNNNN!

15.) It’s not like this was completely wrong.

16.) … fair enough.

17.) Poor lil cells.

18.) Well, I certainly don’t know it!

19.) That kid is wise.

20.) It was a good try.

21.) So. True.

22.) This is the most epic win ever.

23.) It’s possible, right?

24.) Poor Warren.

25.) A for effort!

Three times? Nay, nay.

It's obscene how many times I've seen Lonesome Dove, the miniseries; Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb; The Maltese Falcon; Monty Python and the Holy Grail; Casablanca; and The Wizard of Oz.

Back when I first rented The Highlander on VCR, I watched it 6 times in one weekend. I rented it several more times then bought and wore out the tape.

I’ve also watched the entire Buffy series on DVD at least 5 times. Same with the Stand, Firefly and American Gothic.

As for Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns, I can’t even count.

Don't feel bad - I've seen Dr Strangelove so many times I can pretty much recite the dialogue verbatim.

There is just no possible way to list them all. However, I can give you a random list of those I’ve watched most:

The Princess Bride
The Quiet Man
Ratatouille
Toy Story 1, 2 & 3
Cars
Animal House
Independence Day
Star Wars Ep. 4, 5, & 6

That’ll do for now.
