a baby baptized is NOT a marriage legitimatized
The Church’s decision to not punish a child signifies a change in doctrine. Got it.
“Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us! Look at us!”
Not gonna happen. The baptism is about the baby ... not you and your “spouse”.
(Ezekiel 18:20) - “The son will not bear the punishment for the fathers iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the sons iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.”
If they take the kid to Mass every Sunday and teach the child that homosexual acts are sinful, then I have no problem with it.
Uh, people...........its Argentina! From what I’ve been reading, it appears only about 25% of the so-called “Catholics” in Argentina are.....Roman Catholic. Despite its appearance as a monolithic organization, the Roman Catholic Church as guided by “Rome”, has practically no control whatsoever over 50% of the so-called “Catholic” churches in South America. The other 50% are, from what I’ve seen, bizarre wack-job congregations with services that more resemble circus acts than actual Masses. Truly bizarre.
You cannot compromise or appease fascists
They take it as an admission of guilt and weakness and renew their attacks
The child is not the pervert. No reason to punish it.
People in Hell want ice water.
I just love how these people think the Church is becoming more open minded and accepting of homosexuality by doing and saying things it has always said. You are loved by God, we all are. You are in serious sin if you act out on homosexuality. So the Church didn’t reject a baby for baptizing? What am I missing here? Baptizing a baby in the church has nothing to do with the serious immorality of the unwed sex partners and their dream to mock marriage and God.
Ping
no, the baby was baptized because it’s not his fault that his parents are living in sin. You can’t take it out on the baby because of the way the parents’ live.
The same goes for those heterosexuals who aren’t married and have children. If that’s going to be the case, then very few children will be baptized.
